Patricia Ann (Towers) Musser

Patricia Ann Musser, 85 years old, passed away at 7:05 a.m. on Monday, January 14, 2019, at the West Bend Nursing Home in South Bend.  Mrs. Musser was born on August 7, 1933, in Furport, WA to the late Clair Eddy Towers and Faye Marjorie (Wigent) Towers.   On October 28, 1960 in Fort Wayne, Patricia and Victor William Musser were united in marriage.  Her husband preceded her in death on March 29, 2007.  One daughter, Renee Christine Staley, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Musser is survived by her three children; Raylene “Susan” Engrissei of South Bend, William “Scott” (Karla) Musser of Osceola, and Gregory Alan (Amber) Musser of South Bend; six grandchildren, Jody, Christian, Cori, Victoria, Nicholas, and Kenna; four great grandchildren; and one sister, Naomi Onalee Turney of Montpelier, OH.

Mrs. Musser was a real estate broker for 33 years with the House of Realty.  She was a legal secretary for nine years and in banking as the Supervisor of Commercial Tellers at Commercial Bank in Peoria, IL.  Mrs. Musser was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.  She loved music and took voice lessons as a teenager.  She sang in the choir while her mother played the piano and her father, the violin.  Her husband used to bring her a yellow rose every week when they were married. 

A private graveside service will be held at Southlawn Cemetery in South Bend.  There will be no visitation.  Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Patricia Ann Musser may be donated to Rush University Medical Center, 1201 W.
