Ronald Jay Smith

Ronald Jay Smith, 63, residing in South Bend, entered into heaven on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. He was born on December 13, 1953 in Elkhart, IN to the late Ronald K. and Nadine (Reeg) Smith.

Ronald is survived by his son, Ronald G. Smith; daughter, Tracy Brooks; grandchildren, Quincey and Sheena Brooks; brothers, Tim (Theresa) Smith and Scott (Pam) Smith as well as three nieces and one great niece.

Ronald was a graduate of Penn High School Class of 1972. He was currently employed as a security guard for VSS Security, stationed at Penn High School. Ronald was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and his greatest joy in life was being a Papa.

A Memorial Service in honor of Ronald will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, November 13th, 2017 at Northway Church of Christ, 19525 Auten Road, South Bend, IN 46637.
