SOUTH BEND – Ruby May Naragon, 68, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at her home.

Ruby was born on March 3, 1951 in Niles, Michigan to the late Richard and Ruby Jordan, and has been a lifelong resident of the South Bend and Mishawaka area. In August of 1971, Ruby was united in marriage to Terry L. Naragon, who preceded her in death. Ruby enjoyed her life as a homemaker, raising her three children, gardening, and camping. She was a gracious host, always opening her home for entertaining family and friends, and having cook-outs.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Terri L. Kunai of Florida; two sons, Jeremy White (Debbie Smith) of South Bend, and Jim White of Minnesota; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Rachel Grice of Niles, Michigan. Ruby came from a large family having several brothers and sisters.

It was Ruby’s desire to not have any funeral services. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 230 W. Catalpa Dr. Suite D, Mishawaka, IN 46545. Palmer Funeral Home River Park Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
