Sally Kay DeCocker, age 58, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away at 7:41 pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at her home.  Sally was born on August 26, 1959 in South Bend, Indiana to Harold Kerns and Joyce Reeves Kerns.  On September 23, 1989 in South Bend, Indiana, Sally married Kevin Edward DeCocker.  Kevin preceded her in death on February 17, 2004.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Krystal (Josh Williams) Kerns of South Bend; granddaughter, Ailey; grandson, Bowen; and her sister, Della Elkins of South Bend.  Her mother, Joyce Kerns and her brother, Terry Kerns both preceded her in death.

Sally loved her family, especially her grandbabies.  She worked in the After School Program and as a lunch lady for South Bend Community Schools.  Sally also volunteered with Girl Scouts.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at River Park United Methodist Church, 920 S. 23rd Street, South Bend, IN.  Pastor Char Cobb will officiate.  Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.  Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend.
