Shawn Dokey

Shawn A. Dokey, 48 years old, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at his home.  Shawn was born on September 18, 1968 in Mishawaka, the only son to Frances and Roger Dokey.  

Shawn is survived by his wife, Amanda; daughter, Hannah, and her wife, Breeanna; granddaughter, Maysen Marie; mother, Frances (fiancé: Tim Williams) Dokey of Madisonville, TN; aunt and uncles, Billie (Bob) Lemanski, Lori (Bob) Yarbrough, Carol (Jim) Warren and Max (Jane) Dokey.  He is also survived by many cousins, friends and co-workers.  Shawn worked at West Rock, formerly Stone Container.

Shawn loved to ride his bike; drive his truck and 4-wheelers, and participate in anything that had to do with going fast.  We know he’s hanging out with his dad, Roger, right now probably cracking jokes.  He has left this Earth way too early and will surely be missed.  Rise to the heavens, Shawn, enjoy the view, and be at peace.
