April 21, 1935 – January 9, 2019

MISHAWAKA – Stanley F. Wisniewski, 83, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Memorial Hospital.

Stanley was born on April 21, 1935 in South Bend to the late Stanley J. and Mary Wisniewski, and has been a lifelong resident of the Michiana area. Stanley worked for many years as a Brakeman for the Penn Central Rail Road Company, from where he retired several years ago. Stanley proudly served our country in the United States Marines Corp. The joy of his life was spending time with his family. Stanley also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

On November 22, 1958 in South Bend he was united in marriage to Nancy Jo (Snyder) Wisniewski, who survives. Stanley and Nancy Jo were married for almost 60 years.

Stanley is also survived by their sons, Alex A. (Fran) Wisniewski, Michael Todd (Tami) Wisniewski, and Tobey Allen Wisniewski; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; his sister, Jene Nowaczynski; his brother, Chester Wisniewski; along with one niece and two nephews.
