Welcome to the memorial page for

Tanner Williams

September 15, 1993 ~ November 16, 2014 (age 21) 21 Years Old

Tanner Williams left this world to reside with his parents in heaven early Sunday morning around 1:30 a.m.   Tanner was involved in a one car fatality, which resulted in the ending of not only a friend, but a brother's life.  Tanner will be enormously missed.  Anyone who had the pleasure of his presence knew how rough his life was, and admired his optimism because of it.  Tanner lost his father, Philip G. Williams to a heart attack when he was only a child, his mother, Robin D. (Brandt) Williams in his adolescent years and most recently, his childhood best friend, Hal Snyder.

He had this unconventional tragic life that no one should have to experience, but Tanner, being the strong-minded person that he was, embraced it.  He taught each of his friends the true meaning of the phrase, "it could always be a lot worse".  Despite his prior trials and tribulations, you never caught Tanner without a smile on his face.

Tanner attended LaVille Junior/Senior High School, but received his diploma from Penn.  Out of all the love he had for the people he surrounded himself with, he had a reserved love for his 1998 navy blue Trans Am.

Tanner is survived by his sister, Taylor Brooke Sherian Williams of South Bend, IN; half sister, Heather Crull; half brother, Troy Williams; several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

Visitation for Tanner will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2014 in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN with Pastor John Christy officiating.  The funeral will follow the viewing at 1:00 p.m..   Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.

Contributions in memory of Tanner Williams may be offered to the Tanner Williams Memorial Fund c/o Policeman's Credit Union, 1130 S. Main Street, South Bend, IN 46601.  Online condolences may sent to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com
