Thomas L. Foster

Thomas L. Foster, age 76, peacefully passed away at his residence on the evening of Friday, August 3, 2018. Thomas was born on September 1, 1941 in LaPorte, IN, to James Foster and Helen Bellinger-Lazark, who preceded him in death.

On April 22, 1961, Thomas was united in marriage to Carolyn Sue Hively, who survives. Thomas was employed for many years as a machinist at Bendix and Walkerton Tool and Dye and together with Carolyn, raised two children. 

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carolyn (Hively) Foster; two children: Lori (John) Paschen of Walkerton and Mike (Laurie) Foster of Walkerton; five grandchildren: Kyle, Kurtis and Tyler Foster and Ryan and Jeff Paschen; one great-grandson, Benji Paschen; sister Kathy (Mike) Luther of LaPorte, IN and brother James Foster of Mansfield, OH. A host of extended family and friends also cherish Thomas's memory and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Funeral services for Thomas L. Foster will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home - North Liberty Chapel, 202 N. Main Street, North Liberty. Pastor Tim Davis will officiate. Friends may call on the family for visitation from 1-4:00 p.m. prior to service at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
