Timothy Wade Stewart

Timothy Wade Stewart, 57, passed away peacefully at 1:29 AM on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Memorial Hospital after battling an extended illness. Timothy was born on August 12, 1961 in Cabin Creek, WV.

On Nov 7, 1985, Timothy was united in marriage to Leeann Marie (Templeton), who survives. Timothy was self-employed, working in lawncare maintenance and was the proud stepfather to one stepson, Jason. He was an avid Raiders fan and outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to help people. He was especially active with veterans. Timothy was a beloved husband, stepfather, brother, extended family member and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Timothy is survived by his wife of 33 years, Leeann Stewart of South Bend; stepson Jason Michael Page of Colorado; special friend St. Sgt. Carl Van Durmen, Sr. of South Bend; sisters Sunday Stewart and Misty Stewart, both of Elkhart; brothers Leonard Stewart of Elkhart, Eugene Stewart of Elkhart, Hank Stewart of Oregon and Freddie Stewart of Elkhart; as well as a host of extended family members and friends. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Henry A. and Betty Jane (Smith) Stewart, and two brothers.
