I miss you so much. Six years have passed and I'm still as devastated as I was that day. Every year, I pray that I'll make it through July. I don't know why I do...because I, truly, just want to be where you are. I want to hug you and never let go.

I was so sad to read about Tyler's passing in the newspaper and wanted to send you my deepest sympathy. I was Tyler's first grade teacher at LaSalle and remember him as a bright, compassionate, and polite young man in my classroom. I recall his enthusiasm for our activities, and I seem to remember that he won a writing contest that he entered. The tribute to him in the paper was beautiful. I am so sorry for your loss.
