MISHAWAKA – Viola F. Cesavice, 91, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away at 5:40 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Golden Living Center-Fountainview, Mishawaka.
Viola was born January 24, 1928 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Russell and Viola (Swallow) Frantom.
She had worked in the maintenance department at the Carriage House for eight years.
In February of 1948 she married John Zmich; he would precede her in death on January 8, 1949. She then married George Cesavice; he also would precede her in death.
Surviving are her three daughters, Maryalice (Robert) Kruszewski of Winter Haven, Florida, Deborah Arthurhultz of South Bend and Georgeann Nicodemus of Richmond, Texas. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Steven, Sheila, Bonita, Kelly, Amanda, Samantha and Robeyn; four great-grandchildren, including Noah; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Maryalice of South Bend; and a brother, John Frantom of New Carlisle.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; three sisters, Catherine, Dorothy, and Depaza; and a brother, Russell.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, Indiana 46615, with Pastor Toun Fadugba and Pastor Ope Babayemi officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at the Riverview Cemetery, South Bend.
