We were saddened to read of Wayne's passing. Our families were neighbors and attended Green Camp Baptist Church together many years ago. Very special years with very special people. We will be praying for the family's comfort and peace during this difficult time.

I'm so sorry for the loss of the Savage family. I spent lots of time with Wayne and his family when we lived in Green Camp. His family put my family up for a few days when a flood hit Green Camp. They lived on a hill high above the waters of the Scioto River. My Prayers are with the Savage family.

As a new guest to Elkhart East Christian Church 4 years ago, I was warmly welcomed by Wayne. Each week he greeted me with a smile and a handshake which over time turned into a hug. He always had a smile and spoke positively about life and the Lord. He left a lasting and positive impression on me. Wayne will be missed. Please accept my condolences.

We really enjoyed the few years that Wayne spent worshiping with us at Elkhart East. He was always so full of life & wanted to help in whatever way he could. We missed him when he moved on & miss him even more now that we know he won't be back for a visit. We look forward to seeing him in the eternal presence of the Lord.

May the Lord comfort you in your time of grief.

Wayne was always a kind and giving man. I had enjoyed working with him. He was never afraid to discuss his faith in Christ. "I'll see you in the morning. "
