Wayne E. Schrader

Wayne E. Schrader, 86 years old, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Sprenger Healthcare, Mishawaka, IN.  Wayne was born on December 19, 1931 in North Liberty, IN to the late Albert and Leona (Arnold) Schrader. He has remained a lifelong resident of St. Joseph county.  In June 1955, Wayne was united in marriage to Joyce Hay who preceded him in death on June 21, 2011. In April 1986, Wayne married Florence Ridgely who preceded him in death on December 18, 2014.  Wayne retired in 1996 from Wells Aluminum where he was employed for 38 years.

Wayne is survived by his three sons and daughter; Ashley (Diane) Schrader of Lehigh Acres, FL, Carter Schrader of South Bend, IN, Nick Schrader of Carmel, IN and Nichole “Niki” Schrader of Fishers, IN; grandchildren Alisha (Brandon Richardson), Jerett, Cameron and Lydia; great grandchildren Kylan, Kaden and Kensley; and one brother, Claude Schrader of Florida.  Along with his parents, one sister, Mary Schang, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 23rd at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville, IN.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Porter Rae Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may visit with the family 6:00-7:00 PM Tuesday and 10:00-11:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
