William Lee Hutchison, Jr.

Mr. William Lee Hutchison, Jr., 63, passed away on the evening of Friday, February 15, 2019 with his family by his side. William was born on August 13, 1955 in Mishawaka, IN to William Sr. and Joan (Findley) Hutchison.

William was a life-long area resident. On April 30, 1983, he was united in marriage to Pamela “Pam” Abel, who survives. At his time of passing, William was retired and a former employee as a Merchandiser for Home Depot. As an avid stamp collector, William was a member of Northern Indiana Philatelic Society. He was a devoted bowler and golfer. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast, radio enthusiast and loved antiques.  Most of all, William cherished the time he got to spend with his family. He was the proud father of three, grandfather to five, and a beloved uncle, brother, extended relative and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

William is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Pam Hutchison of Mishawaka; daughters Tiffany Ann Hutchison of Mishawaka, Heather Lee (Tony) Sparks of South Bend and Lindsey Marie Hutchison of Mishawaka; grandchildren Brandon, Jason, Sakari, Skye and Zayvin; sister Gale Lynn (Steve Dohner) Zollinger of Three Oaks, MI; as well as a host of nephews and extended family members. William was preceded in death by his parents.

Services for William Hutchison will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Palmer Funeral Home – River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN 46615. Pastor Vito Rulli to officiate. Friends may call on the family for visitation for one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery in South Bend.
