William "Mike" Michael Gentry

William Michael "Mike" Gentry, 52, of North Liberty, IN passed away at 7:47 a.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015 at his home.  He was born on May 11, 1963 in Florence, AL to William and Peggy (Smith) Gentry.  On August 26, 2006 in Mishawaka, IN, Mike was united in marriage to the former Marci A. Poor.

Mike is survived by his wife, Marci A. Gentry; daughters, Dahlia (Sam) Witt of Buchanan, MI, Natalie (fiancé Brian Wade) Gentry of FL, Shyanne Gentry at home; son Billy Scott at home; mother, Peggy Gentry of Bremen, IN; father, William Gentry of Tippecanoe, IN; eight grandchildren; brother, Joe (Ellen) Gentry of South Bend, IN, sister-in-law, Peggy A. Gentry of South Bend, IN; father and mother-in-law, Floyd and Cheryl Poor of South Bend, IN and several nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him very much.  His brother, Dennis Randall Gentry preceded him in death on January 3, 2012.

Mike lived most of his life in the local area. He graduated from Bremen High School and worked as an installation technician for Direct TV Satellite. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at United Pentecostal Church, 4609 Ironwood Road, South Bend, IN.  Rev. Terry Henson, pastor of Greater Faith Fellowship, will officiate.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, October 12th, at the United Pentecostal Church and one hour prior to the  service, also at United Pentecostal Church.   Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family with arrangements.
