Wilma C. RolstonApril 26, 1932 ~ October 5, 2017 (age 85)
Wilma C. Rolston, 85, residing in South Bend, IN, died at 4:00pm Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Wellbrooke of Avon in Indianapolis, IN.
She was born April 26, 1932 in Bourbon, IN, a daughter of the late George Herbert & Ada Princess (Berkeypile) Craig, and was a graduate of Bremen High School.
On December 29, 1955 in Elgin, IL, Wilma was united in marriage to Rodrick Rolston who survives. In addition to her loving husband of 61 years, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Raleigh & Laurie Rolston of Avon, IN; her son-in-law, Michael Triche of Tuscaloosa, AL; two grandchildren, John (Gretchen) Rolston, and Diane (Jonathon) Malats, and a great-grandson, Logan Rolston. She is also survived by her sister, Edna Gibboney of Elgin, IL; along with many nieces and nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by her daughter, Ronda Triche in 2000; three sisters, Mary Edith Craig, Alice Newsom, and Esther O. Craig; and three brothers, Harry, Harold & Dale Craig.
Wilma attended Indiana University of South Bend, and graduated from Holy Cross College. She retired in 1999 as owner and operator of Little People’s Learning Center. She attended Grace United Methodist Church and its Women’s Circle, and she was a leader in the Stephen Ministries. She was also a Master Gardener.
Services will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, where the family will receive friends from 4:00pm until service time on Wednesday.
