Albert L. Nickerson

Albert L. “Joe” Nickerson, 69, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at his home. Joe was born on December 24, 1950 in Plymouth, IN to the late Karl and Leona (Balmer) Nickerson.

Joe is survived by the mother of his children, Rhonda Nickerson; his seven children, Casey (Trisha) Nickerson, Chad (Alicia) Nickerson, Katie (Mitchell) Nickerson-Kubsch, Tina (RJ) Seabolt, Amy (Matt) McFarland, Jody (Laura) Nickerson, and Shane Nickerson; his thirteen grandchildren, Breanna, Octavia, Liam, Phyllisity, Sophie, Olivia, Emily, Brandyn, Jacob, Susan, Austin, Nathan, and Meagan. He is also survived by his four brothers, Richard, Bob, Danny, and Keith. Along with Joe’s parents he is also preceded in death by his son, Benjamin; his grandson Andrew Ketchum and his grandchild Baby Nickerson.

Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army. After serving, he worked locally at Commercial Structures where he retired. Joe enjoyed watching Nascar, as well as spending time with his best friends - his grandchildren.

No services are being held at this time. Palmer Funeral Homes-River Park Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made out to the family to help with the funeral expenses.
