Anthony DeWayne Byrd, 49, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, November 6, 2019 after battling an extended illness. Anthony was born on July 7, 1970 in South Bend, IN to James Lee and Laura (Waters) Byrd.

Anthony was employed as a cook for Applebees in Mishawaka and was a devoted father, son, extended family member and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Anthony is survived by his mother, Laura Byrd, of South Bend; four daughters: Ashley Bingham, Aisekal McCallum, Zhane Brown, Ariel Byrd; two sons, Aaron Buchanan and Anthony Ryan Byrd; as well as a host of extended family members and friends. Anthony was preceded in death by his father.

Per the family’s wishes, no public services will be held. The family will host a memorial service in Anthony’s honor at a later date.
