Anthony Craig Logan, 38, departed unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. Anthony was born on October 13, 1982 to Steven Craig Logan, Sr. and Dana Elaine O’Neal and raised by his aunt, Kimberly Logan of South Bend.
Anthony attended South Bend schools and was a life-long resident. He was very family-oriented and made sure he was in attendance for all major milestones (graduations and birthday celebrations) in his nieces and nephews lives. He was a beloved son, brother, cousin and friend.
Anthony is survived by his parents, Steven Logan Sr. and Dana O’Neal (Arthur Lattimore); his aunt who raised him, Kimberly Logan (C.Brown) of South Bend; three sisters: Brandi Smith, Shiana O’Neal and Dreyana O’Neal of South Bend; four brothers: Joshua Logan, Steven Logan, Jr and Brandon O’Neal, all of South Bend, and Marcus O’Neal of Seattle, WA; five aunts: Charone Logan, Charlotte Logan, Tina Logan and Gloria Jennings of South Bend, LaTika Mc Morris of Fort Worth, TX; three uncles: Michael O’Neal and Demetrius “Duke” Logan of South Bend and Dr. Willard Todd Nailon of Indianapolis, IN; two special nieces, Brooklynn Williams and Bri’Niah Wells; nephew Brai’Sean Peters of South Bend; a special uncle, Elijah Bonds; and two special friends, Shay and Andrew Myers.
Anthony was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Doris L. Jones and Willie M. Logan; maternal grandparents Shirley Jean O’Neal and Harold Farmer O’Neal; uncles Eric Logan, Kahala Pickens and Harold O’Neal.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Palmer Funeral Homes – West Chapel, 2702 Lincoln Way West, South Bend, IN 46628. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family requests that all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.
