To my son, there are no words that can be spoken or typed that can express how I am feeling inside. I find my mind fighting within it self, that your not gone from me even though I see you laying there, I don't want to believe it. I love you so very much son and I know I have told you many times that I am proud of the man you have become. Seeing you with Wyatt and how you are with him and the love that I see in you eyes for him makes me really proud of you. When you and Destinee came and spent those few days with me I'll never forget how you both were with each other and the love that you shared was so amazing. My heart is heavy for you son and I miss you so much, I pray you knew how much I loved you and how proud I was to call you my SON!!!! You will always be in my heart Austin and never forgotten, Daddy loves you!!!!

Austin-
I still can't believe this happened and I haven't let myself believe it yet. But I enjoyed hanging out with you. You were one of my first few friends at church when I started going. We would hang out and drive at night talking. You trying to teach me drums but with little results because I couldn't get the hang of it. Then I saw you with Destinee and saw the look you had with so much love for her and also your son. While it's still hard that you're gone it's good to know you are with your wife watching over us. RIP my friend.
Until we meet again -Noah

Words can't explain how unfair it seems that you were taken so early. If nothing else I feel good in knowing that you lived life to the fullest. Nothing could ever get you down, any obstacle you came across you met head-on without becoming discouraged. You lived to meet the next challenge with a huge smile across your face. When I think back to our childhood I remember a boy who was always up for anything. I remember a boy who never held a grudge. Always smiling. The last time I actually got to spend time with you, Ryan and I taught you how to play blackjack and Destinee, Ryan and I watched in amazement while you won hand after hand. I wish we had had more time to spend together as adults. Destinee was beautiful inside and out and the two of you fed off of each others positive energy. Wyatt will grow up knowing that his parents were two absolutely amazing people. And the rest of us will watch him grow up to be just like his father; fearless, adventurous, spontaneous, at times wreck-less, but above all loving, caring, happy and playful. I'll miss my brother more than either of us would ever have thought.

I want to send my prayers to your family . Austin was such a loving husband to my grand niece Destinee and such a great dad. Thank you for raising such a kind young man. He and Wyatt made Destinee's life complete. God got two new angels in heaven to watch over Wyatt and our family and your family. My heart aches the same as yours. They will remain in a place in my heart forever.

Austin- our hearts are so heavy to have lost two beautiful people so young! We loved having you, Destinee, and Wyatt as part of our 4th St family. You both brought such Joy to all of us! It's hard to think that we won't see you or Destinee pulling up your fancy folding chairs to join us in our front yard festivities and cook outs or bring the wrong bullets for your gun at the next hunting trip! We are honored to have known you and your family and to watch you become an amazing husband and father! We are also brought peace to know that you are with the Lord and that you and Destinee are together!

Austins Family- my family would like you to know that we loved your son! As a mother I can't even fathom the pain and heartache you must feel but we hope you find some comfort in knowing that you raised a generous, loving, God fearing young man! We wil be holding on tight to the beautiful memories we shared with Austin and praying that the Lord will wrap his arms tight around you as you grieve! We wish there was a way for us to make it to Austins funeral but please know we are there in spirit and thoughts! Please let us know if there is ever anything we can do!!

To Austin and Desitinee's family, I met Austin as a very young man in the tower industry, throughout his career we kept in contact, I watched him grow into a man, watched him find love with his wife and learn unconditional love through his child. It is with great sadness that I find myself writing to your families. I hope you are proud of the man, the husband, the father and the Christian that Austin became. He will be truly lost as a part of our lives but I will take great comfort to know that he and Destinee will walk hand in hand with Christ forever. My deepest sypathy to your families and I will keep you in my prayers. May God bless.

Austin, my heart is so heavy... We've known each other our whole lives, we grew up together, attended the same church, went to school together. so many memories, so many wonderful memories... I will never understand why you were taken from us so soon, but I am so thankful for the sweet 22 years we had of friendship. I was so proud of the man you had become. The great husband and father that I got to privilege of witnessing you being to Destinee and Wyatt. I remember meeting her for the first time, what a sweet heart. I remember when you all found out you were having Wyatt, the glow that both of you had. I will forever miss the two of you, and will always cling to the many, many wonderful memories!

You were the brother I never had, So many memories flood my mind of our youth and all the times together with mason and I, and you and beccah. Everytime we were all together all we did was laugh until we hurt and have a good time. You were always able to make me laugh on a bad day or say something encouraging to make me feel better. I have always considered your family my own and I pray God's peace on all of them in the weeks and months ahead. I will never forget the last time you and destinee were at my house , we played clue and ate and ate and laughed. Such special memories with such wonderful people. I will keep each and every memory from all the years we all spent together tucked away in my heart for as long as I live . You may be gone.. but you will never be forgotten. ~court

Austin, my mind is flooded with memories of the times we shared over the past fifteen years. We were both seven when we met, and you and your family have been a part of my life ever since then. I regret that we were unable to be together much over the past three to four years, but I know that if we'd had a reunion we would've been able to pick up right where we left off. This lesson in trust is difficult; God's ways are so far beyond what our limited human minds can comprehend.

Much love and prayers to your parents, siblings, and the rest of your family. Go rest high, buddy. Love, Brett

My deepest sympathy for Austin's family and friends. How I loved him and Destinee. We had the pleasure of living in the RV Park (in Hahnville) and I watched these two grow to love each other. Always told them God brought them together for a reason and now He has them together in Heaven. Austin, you were such a wonderful young man and I adored you in how you loved and took care of Destinee. You both will be missed greatly. May God comfort your family....

when two hearts meet from two different worlds, sometimes life doesn't always go like we planned. they lived and loved like no one i have known they are together forever no matter where they rest. So many loved you both its hard to comprehend but in the end God knows why these two entered heaven hand in hand. It is not always easy to understand why but just be comforted in knowing that Austin and Destinee were loved by so many. And our final rest is not final. Many thoughts and prayers for these two amazing people, their sweet baby boy, and all those they have left behind. Much love
