Austin Whickcar Obituary
Austin David Whickcar, 23, of Walkerton, IN passed away at 10:35 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018. He was born on November 16, 1994 in South Bend, IN to David and Michelle (Jankowski) Whickcar.
Austin is survived by his parents, David and Michelle Whickcar; maternal grandparents, Susan Skelton of Mishawaka, IN and Michael (Suzie) Jankowski of Ragland, AL and paternal grandfather, Clyde Whickcar of North Liberty, IN; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, JoAnn Whickcar and step grandfather, Robert Skelton.
Austin was a lifelong area resident. He was employed as a chef for East Bank Emporium in South Bend. Austin loved to fish, hunt deer and skateboard. He made friends easily and everyone liked him. He enjoyed cooking and loved his border collies "Daisy and Bailey".
A Celebration of life will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home in the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville, IN.
