Avery Lucas Edward Shurley

Avery Lucas Edward Shurley, 25, of Mishwaka passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital.  He was born November 29, 1994 in South Bend to Raymond Shurley and Jenny (Grose) Shurley, both of whom survive.

Also surviving are his daughter, Vayda Shurley; son, Abel Shurley; sisters, Morgan Shurley and Heather Meeks; brothers, Nathan Shurley and Garrett Shurley; grandmother, Barbara Grose; aunts, Karen Miller and Stacy Graham; and uncles, Jimmy Grose and John Michael Richardson.

Avery graduated from Mishawaka High School, where he was active in wrestling and football.  Avery enjoyed fixing and painting cars.  He was always there for others and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend, IN 46615.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of the service.
