Belisario S. Arizpe

Belisario S. Arizpe, 83, of South Bend passed away on Monday December 1, 2025, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

Belisario was born in Ayende, Mexico on March 16, 1942, to the late Genaro and Manuela (Salazar) Arizpe.

Belisario spent his career at AM General working on the assembly line, a job he cherished with coworkers and friendships made that lasted a lifetime. 

In 1996 he married Herminia “Minnie” Nino, spending the last 29 years together.

Belisario will be remembered by his loving wife, Minnie, his daughters, Patricia Arizpe, Pamela Arizpe, Lydia Arizpe, and Ariana Gonzalez, as well as his stepson Rudy Gonzalez, grandchildren, Brandon (Vanessa), Payton, Reagan, Coltin, Selena, Alexis, Santiago, and Rudy Jr, and his great-grandchildren Hendrix, Harlow, Valley, and a baby boy due in March.  14 siblings survive as well.

Belisario was preceded in death by his parents and many siblings.

A visitation for Belisario will be held from 4pm-6pm on Thursday December 11, 2025, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend.  A prayer will end the time together at 6pm.
