SOUTH BEND - Bernie Sikorski died Friday afternoon, November 15, 2013, in his home in South Bend, IN.  He was born December 16, 2006, in Medaryville, IN, and was brought into the home of Bruce and MG Sikorski in April of 2007.  From the start, it was obvious Bernie was a special dog.  He was a kind and gentle soul who loved his family unconditionally. He was a best friend and protector to his parents and siblings.

Bernie is survived by both his parents (Bruce and MG Sikorski), and his four brothers—Louie, Papi, Vito and Kramer.  There is an empty space in their hearts.  Bernie will always be remembered with love and gratitude, as he was a part of the Sikorski family for over six years.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bernie’s name to Heartland Small Animal Rescue.  Palmer Pet Services, South Bend are assisting the family with final arrangements.
