Beth Madigan Obituary
Beth A. Madigan, 68, residing in South Bend, passed away peacefully with her three children at her side on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. She was born October 27, 1953, in Mishawaka to Owen and Phyllis (Weber) Barrett and was an active long-time member of the community.
Beth earned her master’s degree from Northwestern University. She worked as a clinical therapist at Reflections Counseling in South Bend. Beth was a member of St. Mark Missionary Church in Mishawaka.
She is survived by her daughters, Shannon (Brian) Penniall of St. Charles, IL and Lindsey (Tom) Smith of Sayulita, Mexico; son, Ryan (Jaysi) Madigan of St. Charles, IL; ten dearly loved grandchildren; mother, Phyllis Barrett of Mishawaka; and sisters, Becky (Keith) Ogorek of Indianapolis and Brenda (Dan) McCabe of Glenwood, MD; as well as brother, Brent (Sally) Barrett of Ballwin, MO. Beth was preceded by her father, Owen Barrett; and brother, Bruce Barrett.
There will be a celebration of Beth’s life at Granger Missionary Church, 50841 Birch Road, Granger at 11:00 am Saturday, December 11, 2021.
