Betty L. Burke, residing in Bremen, formerly of South Bend, passed away at 11:00a.m. Monday, April 27, 2026, in the Bremen Community Hospital.  She was 98 years old.

She was born on January 15, 1928, in Mishawaka, to Harry & Cora May (Lattimore) Brubaker.  She was the youngest in a family of thirteen children.

In 1945 in Long Beach, California, she was united in marriage to Robert O. Burke who was the love of her life for 55 years until his passing on Sept. 28, 2000.

Later she worked for Hillview and Strauss Bakeries and finished working for Avionics. She loved to crochet and make baby blankets. She enjoyed working in her garden, canning, and keeping her freezer full.  She went to church all of her life and loved the Lord.  Most of all, she loved her children, grandsons, and great grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda & Larry Jellison of Bremen, her two grandsons, Jason and Travis White, along with eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, and son Steven Burke in 1996.
