Betty Lou (Plummer) Frick

Betty Lou Frick, 91 years old, passed away at 7:50 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at West Bend Nursing & Rehabilitation, South Bend.  Mrs. Frick was born on February 2, 1932 in South Bend to the late Leon and Lottie (Sedam) Plummer.  She has remained a lifelong resident of South Bend.  On April 17, 1955 in South Bend, Betty and Robert L. Frick were united in marriage.  Robert preceded her in death on August 22, 2017 after 62 years of marriage. 

Betty formerly worked at the Osteopathic Hospital in South Bend.  She was a member of the First Seventh Day Adventist Church and a graduate of Riley High School.

Betty is survived by her two children, Laura Golubski of South Bend and David (Linda) Frick of South Bend; and six grandchildren, Bill (Melissa Konkol) Shinall, Jim (Cassidy) Golubski, Thomas Golubski, Jr., Tim (Krystal) Golubski, Mark Frick, and Jeremy (Nicole) Wagers.  She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Tom Golubski; granddaughters, Candace Mason and Jamie Wagers; two sisters, Dorothy Otto and Lela Mason; and brother, Adrian Plummer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend. Don Hales will officiate.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Sumption Prairie Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday and beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
