Beverly Ann Surridge (June 24, 1945) died on Monday May 18, 2026, at Ernestine Raclin House due to multiple medical complications.
Daughter of Leslie Surridge and Anna Mae Heirman, loving friend and companion of David Annis for over fifty years.
Bev was a graduate of LaSalle High School and a lifetime resident of South Bend and Mishawaka.
Her life track took her through several jobs including secretary of St. Stanislaus Church in South Bend, and office assistant at Martin’s Supermarket Main Office.
Those who knew her, however, will remember her smile and gentle personality. She loved to telephone friends, send and receive cards from them, and share meals with them at her favorite buffet restaurant. She also celebrated their birthdays with unlimited joy.
Bev excelled at yard sales, derived happiness from successful bargain hunting and dressed in colorful stylish clothes.
Throughout her life she struggled with numerous medical problems. May she finally rest in peace.
She added magic to people’s lives. She will be greatly missed.
A Memorial visitation will be on Monday June 1, 2026, from 9:00 am – 10:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial taking place at 10:00 am. All being held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 415 Brookfield Street, SB 46658.
