Bob Lee Frazier

Bobby Lee Frazier, 94, of South Bend, passed away early Thursday morning, November 19, 2020 at his residence.

Bob was born to the late Corydon Hershel Frazier and Electra (Gillispie) Trotter, on July 2, 1926 in Moberly, Missouri.

Bob served in the United States Navy in 1943 and was honorably discharged in 1947.

On July 29, 1972 in South Bend, Bob married Romanita “Nita” R. Hibray; she preceded him in death on April 17, 2017.

Bob worked for Bendix Corporation in the missile division, retiring in 1991 after seventeen years of service; previously he had worked at Sundstrand-Hamilton in Rockford, Illinois for eight years.

He was a member of the American Legion, charter member and past master of the VFW, MLEA School Board, past master of the Masonic Lodge #130. 

Surviving are his three daughters, Vicki A. Dutrieux of South Bend, Carole L. (Larry) Hanson of Lavern, Arizona, Patty (Randy) Myers of Osceola; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are three sisters, Sandra (Charles) Koch of Lexington, Illinois, Juanita McPherron of Bloomington, Illinois, Linda (Vic) Sharp of Clark, Missouri; and a brother, Bill (Velva) Frazier of Sturgeon, Missouri; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Cheri J. Frederick; son and daughter-in-law, Richard (Agnes) Poyser; son-in-law, Dan; and a brother-in-law, Jack.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00AM Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family beginning at 10:00AM until time of service on Tuesday.

Inurnment will take place at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
