Brandon J. Johnson

Brandon Jay Johnson, 37, native of South Bend, Indiana, departed from us physically on Tuesday May 3, 2022, at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Brandon was born to Jay and Marshie Johnson, on January 18, 1985, in South Bend, Indiana. Brandon grew up on the West Side (Lakeside) of South Bend. He was a graduate of the 2003 class at Washington High School (the pride of the West Side). 

At a young age Brandon found eternal love with the person he would share his family and life with. Brandon and Vanity Johnson shared many everlasting memories over the years. Five of the best are their beautiful children Kariah, Kyra, Karis, Jaydon, and Jayce. 

Brandon was a career Shop Manager at Tire Rack in South Bend and Meineke in Indianapolis.

Brandon enjoyed spending time with his wife and children, music (swore he was 2 pac reincarnated), cooking, artwork with his kids, playing video games with his boys and Family Vacations. He loved both his and Vanity’s family culture. From temptations to the Cumbia Kings. There wasn’t a time you couldn’t see Brandon enjoying himself.

Brandon is preceded in death by his father Jay Johnson, nephew Javion Sexton and cousin Brennan Marsh. 

Survivors left to carry on his Legacy, His mother Marshie Johnson, Wife Vanity Johnson, three daughters; Kariah Johnson, Kyra Johnson, and Karis Johnson, two sons; Jaydon and Jayce Johnson, five sisters; LaRhonda (David) Luna, Cynthia Dixion, Michelle Johnson, Debra Johnson, & Kim Peterson, two brothers; Jay (Chaz) Johnson and David Johnson, god brother; Waddell Spann, special cousin; Angela Alwine. Brother in-laws Michael Clark & Drakkar (Boo Boo) Saunders. In-Law family Lupe and the entire Alvarez family.

Funeral Services will be at 11am on Monday, May 9, 2022, in Palmer Funeral Home – West Chapel where family and friends may gather one hour prior to the Service.
