Brynn Butler Obituary

Brynn Bonnie Butler, age 76, of Trussville, Alabama, passed away on July 23, 2026. She was born on September 23, 1949, in South Bend, Indiana, and lived a life marked by warmth, devotion, and a deep love for the people and simple pleasures that brought her joy.

Bonnie was the beloved daughter of the late Collins Butler and the late Beatrice (Emerick) Butler. She was a proud graduate of Concord High School, Class of 1978, and carried the determination and steady spirit she developed throughout her life into everything she did. She spent many years working as a manager in the restaurant industry, where her strong work ethic, leadership, and caring nature left a lasting impression on those who knew and worked with her.

Family was at the center of Bonnie’s life. She is survived by her children, Tinnekke (Bill) Bebout, Audi (Sam) Bogucki, Katie Barnes, Dale Bogucki, and Bryan Barnes. She was a loving grandmother to Kayleigh, Tadizu (Olivia), Hayley (Zack), Morgan (Joe), Edwin, and Eloise, and she also cherished her six great-grandchildren. Bonnie is also survived by her sister-in-law, Andrea Butler, and her nieces, Rebecca Stone and Patricia (Curtis) Brown. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Butler, and she now rests reunited with those family members who went before her.

Bonnie had a gentle and comforting presence, and she found happiness in the everyday moments that made life meaningful. She loved to bake, and her kitchen was often a place of warmth and care. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs, Bella, a pit mix, and Stella, her 205-pound English brindle mastiff, who brought her companionship and many smiles. She liked to sip on her favorite drink, a rusty nail, her daughter Katie would often make for her. She also enjoyed watching Notre Dame Football, sitting outside and taking in the weather, playing solitaire, and watching Law and Order. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, and those moments were among the greatest joys of her life.

Those who knew Bonnie will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her life was one of devotion, resilience, and quiet kindness. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to share in her life, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
