Charlene Sue (Bogucki) Ives

Charlene Sue Ives, 62 years old, passed away at 4:38 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Charlene was born on October 18, 1963 in South Bend to the late Thomas and Kathleen Sue (Hansen) Bogucki.  Charlene has been a lifelong resident of South Bend.  On October 21, 2006 in Mishawaka, Charlene and Randy S. Ives were united in marriage.

Charlene worked many years in payroll and accounting for various companies. She also enjoyed working as a Real Estate Agent. 

Along with Randy, her loving husband for the past 19 years, Charlene is survived by her sister-in-law, Carol (Joe) May of Arlington Heights, IL; brother-in-law, Larry Ives of New Carlisle; and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews who adored her.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.  Friends may visit with the family from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.  Friends may also visit with the family beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
