Chaylon Ray Elijah Williamson, 49, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 2pm in his home on Saturday, June 13, 2026, with his loving wife, Heather by his side.
Born on July 4, 1976, in LaPorte, Chaylon was the son of Donald Williamson and Janice (Wilhelm) Williamson.
Chaylon enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether sitting outside and taking in the day or pursuing his favorite hobbies. He had a passion for scraping and recycling and loved working with metal and machinery. He was a robotic welder at Dexster Wheels. He was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed riding whenever he could. Chaylon enjoyed racing and even owned a race car, a hobby that brought him many memorable experiences and friendships.
He is survived by his wife Heather Lynn Williamson (Key); mother, Janice Williamson; his stepchildren, Hunter Dale Key and Hailey Noel Key; his brothers, Chad Williamson (his identical twin), Joshua (Tara) Williamson, and Ryan Williamson; his half-sister, Reńee Collins; sister-in-law, Holly Erin Key Turnes; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Williamson, and his sister, Adrienne Binversie.
