Cheryl Anne Flatt (Arndt)

Cheryl Anne (Arndt) Flatt, 50, a lifelong resident of South Bend passed away on Wednesday October 25th, 2023 at St. Joseph Health System-Mishawaka.

Cheryl was born on January 28th, 1973 in South Bend to Michael Arndt Sr. and Sierra Tirotta.

Cheryl met and married Ken Flatt on August 6th, 1992 in South Bend, sharing 31 years of marriage. Together they have 5 children and 3 grandchildren.

Cheryl was a homemaker. She cared deeply for her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren with whom she was affectionately known as "Gramma"

Cheryl is survived by her Husband; Ken Flatt, Children: Caitlin, Rebecca (Justin), Ken Jr., Kristin (Matthew), Melissa (Andrew), Grandchildren: Gabriella Elizabeth, Michaela Opal, and Lucas Michael, Her Mother, Sierra Tirotta, Stepmother: Marsha Arndt, Sister: Angela (Brian) Vanderhayden, Brothers: David (Tracie) Arndt Sr. and Anthony Vitale, Step Sisters: Kristi Fetterolf and Laura (Jeremy) Boyenger, and Step Brother: Andy Bellon. As well as several Nieces and Nephews.

Also surviving are her In-Laws: Lawrence (Cheryl) Flatt, Brother-In-Laws Kevin (Cari) Flatt, Nephews Josh (Ashley), Jamie (Jessica) and Keith (Mandi) Flatt, Nephews Micah, Eli, And Niece Halle. Her lifelong Friends Chris and Michelle Kowalski,

Cheryl was preceded in death by her Father: Michael Arndt Sr., Brother: Michael Arndt Jr., and Nephew: David Arndt Jr.

Visitation for Cheryl will be held from 10am-12pm on Monday October 30th, 2023 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. A funeral service will begin at 12pm with burial to follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Pastor Lawrence Flatt will be officiating.
