Cheryl A. Shoemaker

Cheryl A. Shoemaker, 81 years old, passed away on Monday evening, August 3, 2026 at Story Point Assisted Living Memory Care, Granger.  Cheryl was born on March 9, 1945 in Goshen, IN to the late Frederick and Mary Opal (Zimmerman) Bullinger, Sr.  On June 3, 1967 in South Bend, Cheryl and Alan Lee Shoemaker were united in marriage.  Al preceded her in death on May 11, 2020.  Two sisters, Judy McGrath and Victoria Ream, also preceded in death.

Cheryl is survived by her two children, Dawn Shoemaker of Vandalia, MI and David Shoemaker of North Liberty, IN; two grandchildren, Alex (Gabrielle) Lee and Allison Lee; and her brother, Frederick Bullinger, Jr. of Evansville, IN.
