Clarence Michael Wood

Clarence “Mike” Wood, 55, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend, Indiana.

Mike was born on November 1, 1965 in Michigan City, Indiana to Clarence L. Wood and Marilyn J. (Wysong) Wood, who precede him in death.

On March 5, 2021 in Mishawaka, Indiana, he was united in marriage to Jenifer L. Wood, who survives.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his son, Nick (Nicci) Harmon of Lake Station, Indiana; his daughters, Holli (Andrew) Brooke of South Bend, Indiana and Heather (Justin) McFarley of South Bend, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Nyela (3), Colin (10), Eben (9), Collin (8), Kaylee (5), Olivia (3), Lincoln (1), Avery (5), and Aubrey (4); his sister, Jennifer (Shane) Olson of LaPorte, Indiana; and his brothers, Steve (Nova) Wood of Cedar Lake, Indiana and John Wood of South Bend, Indiana.

Mike was a very talented musician who was involved with many bands in the community. He also worked at Guitar Center in Mishawaka, Indiana as an instructor who taught many instruments.

A Celebration of Life for Clarence “Mike” Wood will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Cornerstone Vineyard Church, 308 S. Byrkit Avenue, Mishawaka, Indiana 46544 with  a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the Celebration of Life.  Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
