Cooper Allen Kajzer, 23 months old, of South Bend Indiana passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026.
His life began on June 10, 2024, in South Bend, IN, the fourth child born to Joseph and Isabella Kajzer. Cooper was the cutest, sweetest, and funniest boy ever. He loved his family and his sisters were his favorites. He loved his dog, Ro-Ro and thought petting his cats was the funniest thing. His favorite show to watch was Sesame Street and his favorite character was “momo” (Elmo). He loved spiderman, trains, and especially loved trash and trash bags. Carrying a trash bag around was his favorite thing to do. He also loved always having a blanket in his hands.
Some of Cooper’s favorite things to say were mom, dad, Ariel, Kyky, trash, ew bobo and recently started learning sign language. He was the happiest little boy and his laugh was contagious. He loved helping mom in the kitchen and loved playing catch with dad. He loved music and loved to dance. He was the center of mom, dad, and his sister’s world.
Cooper is survived by his parents; Joseph and Isabella Kajzer, his sisters; Ariel and Skylar Kajzer, his great grandmothers; Rosemary Shirk, Shirley Symczak, Sandy Carpenter, his grandmothers; Melinda Shreve, Jennifer Kajzer, Chrystal Appleton, and grandpas; Daniel Carpenter and Troy Kajzer, his aunts and uncles; Taylor Alexander(Brittney), Zachary Carpenter (Samantha), Destiny Carpenter, Jordan Kajzer, Jacob Kajzer (Alyssa). Dalton Carpenter, Victoria Shreve as well as his cousins; Precious, Frankie, Bryndalyn, Piper, Noah, Willow, Delilah, Zaidyn, Zendaya, and Deslin.
Cooper was preceded in death by his great grandpas Kenneth Symczak, Dennis Shirk, and Danny Carpenter, his sibling, two cousins, and an aunt.
Visitation for Cooper will be held from 10am-12pm on Thursday May 21, 2026, at the Palmer Funeral home-Guisinger Chapel 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend. A funeral service will begin at 12pm.
