Craig Alan Vanden Bossche, 69 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, May 21, 2022 at his home. Craig was born on April 20, 1953 in South Bend and has lived in North Liberty for the past 43 years. Craig and the former Jami Steiner were united in marriage in 1978 in South Bend. He retired from AM General where he worked as a quality engineer. He was the President of the Lakeville Conservation Club.
Along with Jami, his loving wife, Craig is survived by their daughter, Kate (Dan) Kovatch of Okinawa, Japan; mother, Winifred Vanden Bossche of South Bend; sister, Michlene (Gary) of Washington, DC; and brother, David Vanden Bossche of South Bend. Craig was preceded in death by his father, Paul Vanden Bossche, and his brother, Dennis Vanden Bossche.
A time of gathering will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend where friends may visit from 4:00-8:00 p.m. A celebration of Craig’s life will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Lakeville Conservation Club. All are welcome.
