He proudly retired from Ball Band / Uniroyal after 42 years of service as a production worker in various departments.
Curt will be remembered as an avid golfer who golfed well into his late 80s. As a golfer, he was incredibly proud of the hole-in-one he shot in the 1980s, and he golfed in various leagues and recreationally quite regularly, even on vacations. Curt also enjoyed bowling and participated in many bowling leagues over the years.
He loved to travel, often taking long road trips out West or heading South to visit his extended family. He enjoyed working in his yard and kept it in immaculate condition, loved his old westerns and country music. Most of all, he loved sharing a good meal with family and friends.
He will be remembered for the gleam in his eyes, a little sideways smile, and how genuinely happy and easy-going he was.
Curt’s family would like to thank Heritage Point for the care that they have lovingly provided over the last several months. We appreciate the love you showed him when we couldn’t be with him.
Services for Curtis will be held at noon, with visitation beginning at 10 am, on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, IN.
