Cynthia Jo (Hunsberger) Herron

Cynthia Jo Herron, 59, of Mishawaka, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 27th, 2021, surrounded by family at home, after a little over a year battling cancer.

Cindy was the first child born to Joseph and Martha (Clark) Hunsberger on August 15, 1961, in South Bend. On August 18,1990, Cindy married David A. Herron.

Cindy cherished time spent with family and friends, especially when it included her grandchildren. During the summer months, she enjoyed tending to the flowers in her yard and picking out new plants every summer. After being a devoted wife and mother, she was dedicated to her work as a sales assistant, working at Premier Print and Services Group, Inc. for the last 25 years. She was a beautiful pianist who enjoyed practicing throughout her life.

Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Hunsberger, and her infant daughter, Elizabeth Ann Herron. Surviving is her husband, David Herron; children, Benjamin (Kim) Herron, Christopher (Linzy) Herron, Lindsey (Nicholas) Hanlon, and Courtney (Andrew) Roberts; ten grandchildren; four siblings, Kimberly Hunsberger, Michele (Darnell) Davis, Mark (Barb) Hunsberger, and Jennifer Ramirez; her mother, Martha, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 1:00pm Thursday March 4, 2021 at Grace Bible Church, 1700 Edwardsburg Ave, Elkhart, 46514. Friends may visit with family 4:00pm-7:00pm Wednesday March 3, 2021 at Palmer Funeral Homes-Bubb Chapel, 3910 N Main St, Mishawaka 46545 and from 12:00pm-1:00pm Thursday at church. Burial and graveside service will immediately follow at Olive East Cemetery, Elkhart.
