Dale R. Dickison

Dale Roger Dickison, 80 years old, passed away peacefully at 5:09 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Dale was born on April 23, 1942 in South Portsmouth, KY to the late Chester Dickison and Lacy Jane (Binion) Lamblin. He has lived most of his life in Plymouth, IN.

On March 6, 1971 in Belvidere, IL, Dale and Debra E. Cadie were united in marriage. Along with Debra, his loving wife of 52 years, Dale is survived by their two sons, Jeff (Grace) Dickison of Portland, OR and Eric (Rachel) Dickison of Goshen, IN; and three grandchildren, Aiden, Emma and Sophia. Along with his parents, one sister, Bettie Jean Carr, preceded him in death.

Dale proudly served his country with the United States Air Force as a member of the 93rd Organizational Maintenance brach maintaining B-52s. In 2004 he retired after 36 years of employment as a telephone network technician for Sprint. He was a loving husband and father. He loved his family more than anything and did all he could to to provide and guide them. He will be deeply missed by his family.

Per Dale’s wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Palmer Funeral Home in Lakeville is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Dale may be donated to National Kidney Foundation, 911 E. 86 th Street, Unit 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
