Dale E. Cox

Dale E. Cox, 87 residing in Lakeville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Memorial Hospital.  He was born February 23, 1933 in Linkville, IN to the late Everett and Ann (Coyle) Cox and was a lifelong resident of the area. 

Dale served his country honorably in the United States Army as a Private First Class.  He worked as a supervisor in the Printing Industry for Oliver Corporation and White Farm Equipment and was an elder at North Liberty Church of Christ.  On November 30, 1963 he married Phyllis Jean Jarvis who preceded him in death. 

Dale is survived by his children, son, Glenn (Polly) Cox of Deer Island, New Brunswick-Canada, daughter, Debbie (Ed) Matthews, and son, Michael (Jessica) Cox both of Plymouth, IN.  Also surviving are his eight grandchildren, Kyle, Stacy, Joshua, Caleb, Candace, Alacyn, Mikayla, and 11 great-grandchildren.  Along with his wife, Dale is preceded in death by his grandson, Isaiah and two sisters.

Services celebrating Dale’s life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 North Michigan St., Lakeville.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
