Mr. Dale Ray Feyos, 66, passed away during the early hours of Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Golden Living Center in Mishawaka. Dale was born on August 23, 1952 to the late Carl P. and Genevieve (Noens) Feyos.
A lifelong resident of South Bend, Dale was self-employed as a mechanic and enjoyed working on cars in his free time. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan and a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Dale is survived by his children, Melissa (Thomas Nathaniel) Blaylock of Trenton, FL and DJ Feyos of South Bend; stepchildren Janetta Balog of South Bend, Michelle Cook of South Bend, Justin Lechenet of Warsaw, IN, Amber Caruso of Washington and James Cook of South Bend; twelve grandchildren; twin sister Gail (John) Boley of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister Diana (Bradley) Kring of South Bend; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Monica Champelle and his brother, Carl Feyos. Dale was also preceded in death by his longtime companion, Loretta Cook on June 21, 2014.
Services for Dale will be held on Wednesday, July 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Palmer Funeral Home – West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, IN 46628. Friends may call on the family for visitation for one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Southlawn Cemetery.
