David Lee Campbell, Jr

David Lee Campbell Jr., 58, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

David was born on May 10, 1968, in Mishawaka to the late David Lee Campbell Sr. and Linda (Oppy) Campbell.

David is survived by his daughter, Nichole Campbell; his son, David (Adrean) Campbell; his ten cherished grandchildren, Ivory, Dakota, Gabriel, Cayden, Michael, Izabella, Serenity, Jayson, Rose, and Lily; his sisters, Peggy Arendt and Polly Brown; and his brother, Gary Campbell.

David’s greatest joy in life was his grandchildren. They meant everything to him. No matter what hardships he faced, he always found a way to put a smile on their faces and make them feel loved. They never had to wonder how much Grandpa loved them.

Life took David down many different roads. He traveled the country, raised horses, owned and operated a scooter business, drove for Uber and Lyft, and was never afraid to chase a new opportunity or adventure. He lived life with curiosity and a free spirit, collecting stories and experiences wherever he went.

Like many people, David faced struggles throughout his life. Yet through it all, he continued to love his family in the best ways he knew how. Those who knew him will remember his adventurous spirit, his willingness to help others, and the deep love he had for his children and grandchildren.

Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, we find comfort in the memories he leaves behind and in knowing that his love will continue to live on through his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date.
