David Paul Marx

David Paul Marx, 55, residing in Niles, MI, left his family here on earth to be with his loved ones in heaven on Monday, March 27, 2017 surrounded by his family at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. He was born January 15, 1962 in La Porte, IN to William James and Ruth Vlasta (Linhart) Marx.

On June 23, 2007 in Michigan, David married the former Katrina Orpurt, who survives. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Madison and Makenzie Marx; mother, Ruth Marx; sister, Penny (Jim) Hamann; and brother, Bill (Debra) Marx. He was preceded in death by his father, William James and daughter, Kelsey Marx.

Daves’s passions included sailing, boating, cooking, woodworking, Chicago CUBS and spending time with his girls. He was loved by his family and will be missed not only by them but his many friends as well. A Celebration of Life honoring David will be held at a later date. Palmer Funeral Homes—Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
