David F. Price

David  (Dave) F. Price, 76, of South Bend passed away on Friday July 3, 2026 at the Center for Hospice Ernestine Raclin House in Mishawaka.

Dave was born in LaPorte, IN on May 18, 1950 to the late Clarence and Dora (Wright) Price.

On October 2, 1971 he married the love of his life, Vicki Hughes, and they spent 53 years together before her passing in 2025.

Dave worked for Coca Cola as a delivery driver for 40 years as well and served the University of Notre Dame as a stadium usher for 25 years.

He is survived by his sons; David (Jennifer) Price and Shane Price as well as his grandchildren; Brenden, Katlyn, Sydnie,and Alizah and his 4 great grandchildren.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Vicki, and his brother, Dale Price.

Dave was an avid collector. From coins to sports memoriblia to classic cars, he loved all things 60’s. In his free time he would spend his days at car shows or tinkering in the garage. On GameDay you could find him on campus rooting for his beloved Irish.

Visitation for David will be held from 4pm-6pm on Tuesday July 7, 2026 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel,  Visitation will also be held from 11am-12pm and a funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home on Wednesday July 8. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
