David Edward Pulliam, 62, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. He was born on November 3, 1963, in Buchanan, Michigan, to the late Robert Thomas and Judith Irene (Eichorn) Pulliam, and remained a lifelong resident of the area he called home.
David lived an adventurous life and was known for doing things in his own unique way. He had a deep love for music—especially his favorite death metal; he carried that passion with him throughout his life. Though his younger years brought their share of challenges, David grew into his role as a father, grandfather, and uncle with pride and devotion.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: fishing, spending time outdoors, cooking, gardening, and savoring a good cup of coffee while bird watching. David also cherished the time he spent with his nieces and nephews; being around them brought him genuine joy, and he loved watching them grow.
David is survived by his daughter, Nastassja Pulliam, and his granddaughter, Kirsikka Bjerke; his brother, Steve (Elaine) Pulliam of Oregon and his sons, Micheal Plueard and Robert Neal Jr.; his sisters, Daquiri (Rick) Champion and Becky Pulliam, both of Florida; and his niece, Delaney Pulliam of Buchanan, along with her children, Savannah and Aaron Conrad, Trent Davidson, Zsara Nova, and Thane Lembke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; Taylor, Trenton, and Kamryn Pulliam.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Robert “Bob” Pulliam and Mark Pulliam.
In keeping with family wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held.
