Dean Eugene Overholser

Dean Eugene Overholser, 65 years old, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at his sisters residence in Granger. He was born January 12, 1956 in South Bend to the late Lora Overholser and Mary Ann (Mudrovich) Johnson.

Dean was a lifelong resident of Michiana. He graduated from Riley High School in the class of 1974. He then was self-employed as a HVAC Specialist. Dean was a God-loving, generous, and caring individual. He took his training and knowledge and helped many friends, family, and even strangers work on their homes. He would give anyone the shirt off his back. Dean loved throwing large “Woodstock” parties at his residence. He also loved bowling, softball, and enjoying life.

Dean is survived by his sisters, Laura (Dennis) Lorio of Granger, Becky Boyer of Mishawaka, and Dawn Hosbein of Mishawaka; nephews, Justin Overholser and Kyle Dentino; and his niece, Dawn Splawski. He is also survived by his great-nephews, Dylan Collins, Austin Curry, and Kolin Splawski. Along with his parents, Dean is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Overholser,

There will be no services held at this time. The family will host a private service at a later date. Palmer Funeral Homes-Guisinger Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
