Debra Stickler Obituary

Debra Lynn Stickler, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 2, 2025, in Granger, Indiana, at the age of 64. Born on April 17, 1961, in South Bend, Indiana, Debra's life was a testament to her unwavering love for her family, her passion for creativity, and her dedication to her community.

Debra grew up in South Bend, where she was nurtured by her parents, Richard Stickler Sr. of South Bend, In. and the late Sharon Cox. Her childhood was filled with fond memories that she often recounted to her children and grandchildren. Debra's educational journey led her to earn an associate’s degree, which served as a foundation for her successful career in Customer Service at Tire Rack. Her colleagues will remember her for her warmth, her ever-present smile, and her ability to make every customer feel valued.

Family was the cornerstone of Debra's life. She was a loving mother to her children, Finn (Deirdre) Muzzey of Dexter, MI., Richard (Summer) DuBois of United States, and Aaron (Lindsey) Muzzey of Cassopolis, MI. Her role as a mother extended with grace and joy into her role as a grandmother to Taylor, Peyton, Olivia, Gus, and Gabe. Debra's love for her grandchildren knew no bounds, and she could often be found cheering them on at sporting events, celebrating their academic achievements, and creating lasting memories through her love of crafts and scrapbooking.

Debra's siblings, Kim Lehman, Tina Stickler, and Richard (Lori) Stickler Jr., will hold dear the memories of their sister's laughter, her love for shopping at garage sales, and the countless hours they spent together. Her presence in their lives was a source of comfort and joy.

A woman of faith, Debra was an active member of Granger Community Church, where she found solace and strength in her women's bible study group. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, providing her with peace and purpose.

Debra's interests and hobbies were a reflection of her vibrant spirit. She had a talent for turning the ordinary into something beautiful, a skill she showcased in her scrapbooking. Her creativity was not just a hobby but a way of connecting with those she loved, leaving behind a legacy of cherished keepsakes.
