Diane Harbaugh Obituary

Diane Marie Harbaugh, 82, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026. She was born on August 14, 1943, in Niles, Michigan, to the late August and Grace (Mangold) Topash.

On December 2, 1966, Diane married the love of her life, Richard Harbaugh, in South Bend, Indiana. Together they built a home centered on faith, love, and family. As a devoted homemaker, Diane found great joy in caring for those she loved and creating a warm, welcoming home for family and friends.

Diane’s faith was the foundation of her life. She was an active member of Maple Grove Community Church in South Bend, where she enjoyed worship, fellowship, and serving alongside her church family. She cherished spending time with her loved ones and found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Diane loved sewing, crafting, camping, birdwatching, and spending time with her beloved dogs. Her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Harbaugh; her daughters, Dawn Kiess and Darcy (Bryan) Davis; and her cherished grandchildren, Dalton Davis, Landon Kiess, Dawson Kiess, and Hailey (Tanweer) Ashif. Though she is no longer with us, Diane’s legacy of faith, compassion, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those who mourn her passing.
